If you have the extra time and money to spend researching and building out systems on your own, here are the specifications that we recommend.  In many cases you can find better deals on the actual hardware.  If you choose to research and custom build systems yourself, please keep the following minimum performance and security recommendations in mind.  Also keep in mind that these are the “minimum” recommendations.  If you are buying for a power user, you will likely want to increase these specifications with at least more memory and hard drive space.
